• Paulo Coelho has to be the worst author ever. The Alchemist was probably the first and the last good piece of literature he produced. The Zahor was completely unreadable. -On the banks of Piedra, I sat and Wept- has to be amongst the most unbearable sermons on neo-paganist, feminist, pseudo-advaitic Christianity.
• Kailash might work out, after all. Acads notwithstanding.
• New Hopes | New Roles. Some deal did work out with our man after all!

Concerts. Ahh

Yamini 2008 @ IIMB:

Reached IIMB towards the end of the first piece (the first concert, rather) by Sowmya. “Kurrai Onrum Illai” was the last piece that was nearly done with as I got there.

What followed was Shashank’s brilliant concert. Amongst the most stunning flute virtuosoes ever, so far as I’m concerned. Truly, a remarkable rendition.
